Hedge fund service provider BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services (AIS) announced on Wednesday that Alan Flanagan will take over as permanent head of global asset management.
The Dublin-based Flanagan has held the position since June in an interim capacity, when he took over from Rick Stanley, who at the time was named executive vice president of BNY Mellon’s Global Structured Finance Group. While in his interim position, Flanagan continued to manage the group’s private equity administration products. He will remain in Dublin, where he reports to Brian Ruane, CEO of BNY Mellon AIS.
Ruane said in a statement, “Alan will lead a global team focused on leveraging and integrating capabilities across our business—from administration and risk reporting to cash and collateral management. New offerings like prime custody and rising demand for middle-office outsourcing will also drive growth in the years ahead.”
